You’ve probably seen the title on the front page of your local real estate agent’s Twitter feed, the one with a photo of the real estate agency that the agent is selling to you.
This is the «buy» section.
If you click on the name of a particular agent, you will be taken to the agent’s website, which will show you a list of properties.
In some cases, this is a very helpful tool for finding a property.
But sometimes you just want to know if an agent is currently selling properties to you, or you want to see the prices of your agents properties.
Enter the real name of the agent, the agent ID number and the agent contact details.
The agent’s contact details will be displayed in the bottom left of the screen.
If your agent is not listed, you can search the agent and you can then choose to view their profile.
If they have not responded, click on «Reply to» to respond to their message.
Then you can click «Reply again» to reply to a further message.
If the agent has not responded to your request for information, click the «Contact» button and they will be contacted.
When you click «reply», you will get a list, where you can either accept or decline the offer.
Click «accept» to accept the offer and you will see the agent listed in the search results.
If, after clicking «reply again», the agent does not respond, you need to click «resend» to cancel the offer, as the agent can change their mind.
If a real estate broker wants to sell you a property and you have a real agent listed, then you can simply click «Buy» to see their agent’s profile.
However, this process may not be suitable for everyone.
It is not uncommon for agents to offer multiple offers, which is why it is important to read their real estate professional guide before accepting or declining any offer.
If that does not work for you, you may need to contact the realtor directly, or contact the Real Estate Agents Association (REA).
If you need help contacting a realtor, or are not sure whether they are an agent or not, you should check with the REA.
Real estate agents are not required to be registered with the Australian Real Estate Board (ARBA), and do not have to adhere to the same standards as the ANZAC and ASBO.
If an agent does register with the ARBA, they will provide you with a letter from the ARB outlining the requirements for agent registration.
If this letter is not provided, then contact the ARCA and ask for one.
If there is no response, contact the ANBA and ask them to provide a letter of instruction, which they will do when they are ready.
Agents are also required to provide information about their business to the REAs register.
This information can be found at www.realestate.gov.au/agencies.
If contacting the REAS does not help you, check with your local REA to make sure they are a real broker or agents.
You can also contact your local government for more information.
If these agents are registered, but not yet providing you with the information you need, contact your agent and ask whether they will contact you in the future.
If not, contact a real-estate professional to find out whether they can assist.
