The Real Estate Board of Vietnam has warned its members against buying a home that is not listed on the national registry.
The real estate board, which regulates the country’s housing market, said on Monday it is «fully aware of the current surge in home prices in the capital of Vietnam and has a duty to act quickly to ensure stability.»
The Real Estate Agency of Vietnam (REAV) said on its website it has notified the state government of Vietnam to inform them of the potential impact of rising home prices on housing prices in Vietnam.
The real-estate agency also said it has asked local government authorities to monitor the rise in the price of homes and make sure they are in compliance with the law and regulations.
