Delhi: Apartments in a former army base in Vietnam’s capital of Vientiane sold for $1.6 million in January, according to an advertisement published by a real estate firm.
The apartments at the Chai Leng Park in Vietnam’s capital were among five apartments offered for sale, said Hui Wai-yue, the managing director of the firm Hui Hong-chung, which has partnered with another real estate agent to sell them.
The listing on the real estate portal Hui-Hong-chun.com showed a large courtyard with a large balcony and a central living area with a fireplace, the website reported.
The apartment was purchased by the realty firm, which was first notified of the deal in January 2016, when it was seeking to sell one of the apartments in a military base in Vientrias southern province.
Hui said the agency’s offer was the best in the market at the time.
Hien was not available for comment.
«The units are very spacious and spacious in terms of floor area, so they have lots of floor space.
The living space is quite large, with a very big fireplace, so the owners can enjoy a large amount of light.
The unit is also equipped with all the necessities and facilities,» Hui told Reuters news agency.
The properties are situated at a military post on the outskirts of Vietrias city, where the Vientrian government has set up a base for security purposes.
The government said it was moving forward with the plan to build a new, large military facility at the base to be built by the end of the year.
